Barista 1.7 adds retina display support20 September 2010
We're pleased to announce that Barista 1.7 has been approved, bringing full support for the retina display. We've also done a lot of tweaking and refinement to some of the illustrations. Hope you enjoy the update.
 Barista 1.5 adds video, extraction timer, gallery & UI improvements, Affogato! 29 December 2009 This update is a tasty one! New features, improved user experience AND a new recipe.As the name suggests, the new Basics tab in Barista contains a video demonstration of the basic steps of using a home espresso machine. Also included are two short videos that show you how to pour a rosetta and a heart using nothing but a shot of espresso and a jug of textured milk.The new Extraction Timer drops down at the push of a button when you're viewing the instructions for any of the espresso-based recipes, helping you achieve the perfect shot.Finally we've also improved the user experience of reading the recipes which now have collapsible points, so that you can choose either condensed or detailed instructions.

What does this mean? For starters it means that you need to get down to the grocery store and buy yourself some premium quality ice cream (and some whipped cream and chocolate flakes if your diet permits) because our new Iced Coffee instructions will have you licking your lips.Barista 1.4 submitted to the App Store 7 October 2009Okay folks, it's been a while since our last update to Barista, but we're happy to let you know that 1.4 has just been sent in to Apple for review. So what's new in this version you ask?
First up we have instructions for the Ristretto and an old classic - the Iced Coffee. There are also some new entries in the Coffee Talk directory, as well as some text tweaks and enhancements throughout. Lastly we've refined application icon - nothing drastic, just a bit of a trim and polish.Barista included on iPhone screensaver demos in Apple Stores 1 July 2009Barista continues to receive Apple love! This time we've discovered that they've included Barista on Apple Store iPhones via the screensaver demos that run while consumers browse.Click here to watch a clip of the screensaver.Barista featured in iPhone 3GS Guided Tour! 9 June 2009Barista has featured prominantly in the Guided Tour video for Apple's new iPhone 3GS, following today's announcement of the device. Barista is opened on the presenter's iPhone and referred to as "one of the many great apps from the App Store".Click here to watch the video (Barista is featured 1min 50sec from the beginning).Barista featured in new series of full page iPhone press advertisements 12 April 2009Apple just commenced a series of large-scale press ads in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today and the New York Times.
